I support neither Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, but there is something that has been on my mind lately. It comes up about the health of presidential candidates, and if they are healthy enough to be in one of the most powerful political positions in the world. As many of you know, Hillary Clinton is a former first lady, wife of former president Bill Clinton, and a current candidate for the 2016 Presidential Election. Hillary Clinton attended the 15th anniversary of 9/11 on Sunday, and had to leave early due to "feeling overheated", which was later explained as she'd been diagnosed with pneumonia on that previous Friday. There's a video that shows something weird that happened as she was waiting for her motorcade on the curb. The video shows one of her aides supporting her, as she is basically manhandled by her other aides into the van. They are not panicking or acting as if there is an emergency: Spoiler: click to toggle Last year, she had what looks like a bizarre epileptic seizure or a stroke of some sort while doing a public interview: Spoiler: click to toggle Something similar happened when she accepted the Democratic Nomination at the DNC National convention, in which she made a very bizarre face when balloons dropped from the ceiling: Spoiler: click to toggle There's some rumors that suggest that her aides and the Secret Service agents surrounding her have been seen carrying anti-seizure pens, but this either is or isn't true depending on what you consider "evidence". Some people say she has Parkinson's Disease, which is actually what Adolph Hitler had toward the end of the Third Reich. He began to lose his capacity for logical thinking. They cite Parkinson's for Hillary Clinton, as evidenced by her recent diagnosis of pneumonia, which usually occurs in Parkinson's patients when saliva pools in their lungs. Other evidence is her excessive coughing, which is a sign of Parkinson's because people with this condition usually have a difficult time swallowing. Others say she has a seizure condition caused by some brain injury in her past. Others say that nothing is wrong at all. What is your opinion? Are you a supporter of Hillary Clinton? Do you think she is healthy enough to be president of the United States? Is it any of our business? |

I'll believe the expert opinion on this which is going to be the release of her health records which she promised to do. Health of your president is important because the job itself is important. I wouldn't want to hire a manager that gets sick easily. Granted, this wouldn't be enough to make me switch sides because Trump is just that bad. |

I agree, I don't support Trump or Clinton, i think both of them are foul. If Clinton is really sick, i'm assuming the Demo party idea is if she wins, she can step down and the demo party can resume the presidency with another puppet?

There's obviously something wrong with Hillary Clinton, but seeing as how I'm not a doctor or in the health care industry I can't make a diagnosis without it leaving the space between my butt cheeks. If it's Parkinson's disease then I would not consider her healthy enough to be president. If it's a purely physical ailment and it's not going to outright kill her during her first term, she's healthy enough. Franklin Roosevelt had Guillain–Barré syndrome. Woodrow Wilson had strokes that destroyed his body. They were both still in a well enough mental state to run the country even though their bodies were crippled. Personally, I do not like Hillary Clinton, or her competitor, Donald "Second Coming of Christ" Trump. |

The unconfirmed theory is that it's pneumonia, right? It is that time of year for it to happen and she's not a young lady anymore. |

To me, those last two videos could be explained by her just being a bit eccentric. In the second video the people were really loud right next to her and she looks like she was doing that 'feigning surprise' thing, just a little too much. Then the last one, again, just overboard surprise. People are looking way too far into those videos if they think they're evidence she has a major illness. |

That's the point, there was no major concern about her health until after the conventions when the last video came out. That was about when Trump took a hit in the polls and a lot of his fans on reddit started spamming about how she had a stroke or something. It gets reposted again and again, picked up by a few alt right "news" sources and becomes a thing. Her pneumonia has just brought it in to more mainstream focus. Anyway, if she actually had a major health problem that would debilitate her mental faculties then you have to consider it. But so far the only thing we've really got is she had pneumonia and stumbled getting in to her car. People get sick, especially in older age so it's hardly a big surprise. Even if she won the election and her health forced her to step down at some point, Kaine is a way better candidate for Pres than Trump so it wouldn't change my view on which campaign should win. Actually, I'm fairly sure that if Hilary died and her staff had to bring her to events and prop her up Weekend at Bernies style, she would still be a better president than Trump so w/e. |

I just think it's stupid that you require Presidents to be a certain age, experience is good and all but a persons mind and body are hardly in their prime condition when they're hitting 60. Seems stupid to me that they'd not be chosen when they're young if they happen to be intelligent and a talented leader. Hillary is just an old woman, people are blowing that way put of proportion. Standing for hours in the heat in a polyester suit could make anyone faint. I've seen people post that she was replaced by a body double and all sorts of nonsense, why are people so desperate to find a conspiracy in everything... Edited by Steve, Sep 14 2016, 01:40 PM.

@Steve I agree and think that presidential candidates should be chosen and groomed at a very young age. |

I think this entire situation is being blown way out of proportion by Conservatives and conspiracy theorists alike. I'm sure Hillary does just have pneumonia. She's an older lady, and her health is failing. I heard that she did have a head injury at one point, and that could be contributing, but I don't think those last two videos are anything but her being a bit eccentric and nervous. |

Yeah it's dumb to wait until they could be going senile, they only get to be President for a certain amount of time anyway so it's not like being young would make someone last too many terms.
Yeah she seems to make weird movements a lot like she's trying to be overly enthusiastic or something and it just looks stupid: There's other videos of that which genuinely try to claim that's a seizure when she's clearly just feigning excitement or just reacts a bit odd compared to most people... (Holy slippers Batman! Maybe she is a reptilian!) |

I think she's an odd person who also happens to be intelligent and professional. Beliefs aside, at the end of the day she's a person too, and she may not have the same reactions that you or I would have. So I think you're right. |

What? That's not a seizure, that's her (awkwardly) reacting to three people trying to talk to her simultaneously. As other people said, I think the alt-right has been grasping at straws with all the Clinton health conspiracies. It was mere coincidence that Clinton is actually sick now with pneumonia. People get sick all the time, and unless what she has is actually life threatening, I don't think this should be an issue. Edited by Common2, Sep 14 2016, 07:53 PM.

I honestly don't understand this narrative. Do people really think that she's so delusional and vindictive? If she does have serious health problems that would impact her ability to act as the President, why would she run in the first place? Is it purely motivated by a desire to be President and to hold that power, despite knowing that it wouldn't be for long? |
